Max Scholnick is a multi-medium creative who works as a copywriter, screenwriter, producer and director. Creating work across commercials, branded content, narrative features and television. He has developed the creative for global brand campaigns, scripted commercial projects, produced shorts, feature films and sold original television projects to major studios. While the spectrum of his work is wide, the consistent thread is always the same: the story comes first.
Max began his career working on short form content as an associate producer at DEFY media. He went on to work with a series of directors in the long form narrative space such as Alejandro González Iñárritu and Brian Duffield. Producing the latter’s directorial debut in 2018 for Paramount, SPONTANEOUS. In 2022 he wrote and sold an original half hour comedy, UNSTUCK TOGETHER to MRC Television and in 2023 he produced the short film BEACH LOGS KILL, written and directed by Haley Z. Boston, which had its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival and is currently on a global festival run.
He is currently working with LONDON ALLEY Entertainment as a writer and in-house creative on commercial and music video projects with some of the largest artists, brands and directors working today.
